Bump On Vagina, Painful While Touching. On Birth Control. Sexually Active With A Single Person. Suggestions?

This is the second one I found in a row now, it's a bump in the lip of my vagina and one on the front, they feel like hard little bumps almost like a big pimple, so I tried popping it, an all that came out was blood. The ONLY time it hurts is when I pick at it. When I looked at it, it looks like a pimple but instead no white head, just a dark red/purple middle from blood. I'm on birth control depro proberva, so I never know if my period is regular or not. It does smell a little bit, but that's happened before. I have only ever has sex with ONE guy that I'm still with, and he's only ever had sex with me. I'm 16, and freaking out. What could it be??

Hello,

Pimple like bump over vaginal lip is mostly suggestive of folliculitis or ingrown hair in relation to bacterial infection. Bad smell may be due to vaginal infection.

Take proper antibiotic treatment and apply neosporin/ surfaz-SN ointment locally. Keep the genital area dry and take warm bath with Epsom Salt to reduce the problem. Practice safe sex in future.
