Bumped Head Last Year, Bump Still Present. Is There Anything I Can Do To Make It Go Away?
When I was about 11(I m 16 now) I was in the bathroom, dropped my toothpaste cap, bent over to pick it up and bumped my head. I got a bump from it and my brother had me put ice on it. It went down but it s still barely there( Been there for 5 years). Is there anything I can do to make it go away?
Hi Welcome to health care magic. A bump on head due to injury should resolve in one month time fully. If it is it still present even after 5 years of time then there must be something problematic. It can be some factor related to skull bone injury and soft tissue injury. You should not neglect it any more and should get reviewed by a physician or a surgeon who will help you plan it's definite management. May be you will need some surgical correction of the deformity as it is unlikely to resolve by itself. I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
