Is Presence Of Bumped On Head After Head Injury, normal?

My 8 year old bumped her head on the ice on 8/10 and had a huge bump. All went well at the emergency room. She's feeling perfectly fine. BUT the bump is still a bit tender still today, nearly 2 weeks later. Is that normal? Or should I go back to the doctor?

Hi,
Thank you for your query.
Bump usually take time to resolve.
For pain you can give ibuprofen in prescribed dose.
If there is increase in the size, tenderness or fever, consult the doctor for re examination.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
