Bumps In The Vagina After Shaving. How Will It Heal?

Hi , I am 18, I have recently had sex with my boyfriend. Before I did I shaved, the inside and the anus area. Now there is bumps on the inside, skin cuts, and it burns. There is no itching and burning when I pee, I went to the ER but left early because of the wait, it is really uncomfortable to sleep or sit and both the anus and vagina hurts. I am afraid to tell my doctor I am sexually active. Please help, what should I do? Will my vagina skin ever get back to normal and heal ?

Hello,

Cutting skin around vagina & anus area will heal automatically within few days and come back to normal. Here, you have nothing to worry.

You can apply aloe vera gel or 1% hydrocortisone cream locally for better soothing effect. Don't touch or wipe out genital area too much. Wear only loose fitting cotton underwear. Maintain genital hygiene and practice protected sex in future.
