General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, The swelling inside the vaginal lips are likely to be swelling of Bartholin glands due to some infection/trauma during your first sex. Though its not hurting at present, it may get swollen, inflammed and painful at later stage. * to prevent it you need tohave a good genital hygine ,Stop sex till the problem is solved. * get locally examined, investigated & treated to remove the swellings. You may need antibiotics, antiinflammatory drugs after an experts ( Gynac)advice * Investigations & treatment of your sex partner is also indicated. * If there is no result with medicines sometimes surgical removal may be needed. So PL. hurry up,earlier you start to care, the better chances of cure. hank you.
