Bumps On Chest, Stomach And Thighs, Some Are Puss Filled, Yellowish, Painful When Touched. Treatment?

I have red individual bumps on my chest, stomach, and thighs. These bumps are itchy at first, most are small and appear clear. Others are somewhat pus filled and yellowish. They are itchy until I pop them and then they harden up and are painful when I touch the surface of the bump. What could this be? And how should I treat this?

Hi
Thanks for your query

Looks like you have developed superficial folliculitis ( pyoderma)over you chest, stomach and back.
Folliculitis (also known as "Hot Tub Rash") is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin with the exception of the palms of the hands and soles of the feet.
They may appear as red dots firstly and then increase in size to become red , hot, tender pus filled lesions.
Avoid touching it too much.
Avoid using any kind of cold dreams or hair oils.as it might increase the lesion.
You can start using any topical antibiotic/antiseptic cream over the lesions.
Avoid the use of any kind of oils or moisturising creams over the body.
Wear cotton clothes as much as possible in order to decrease sweating as it tends to increase the development of such lesions.
If it persists inspite of the above measures, then you need to consult a skin specialist who might prescribe a course of oral antibiotics according to the skin condition.
You might take some pain killers along for relieving the associated pain and discomfort and oral antihistamines for the itching.

Hope it helps
