Bunions On Both Feet, Throbbing Pain. History Of Having Cortisone Shots. Time For Surgery?

Hi - I'm a dancer- have developed bunions on both feet but the left is far worse - I have had cortisone shots successfully over the last 2 years but I have trouble putting on my shoes & lots of pain after dancing & sometimes it throbs all night long. I believe it is time for surgery but I am really scared & also want to be back on my feet as soon as possible - Can I have both done at ones? I need a great surgeon who can help these dancing feet!!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us
As your bunions not get controlled from conservative management and you have still pain, I suggest you to go for surgery. Do not worry after surgery, you would be back on your feet soon. Surgery can be done on both side in one sitting.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
