Buries Looking Mark On Leg, Itching, No Pain, Infection
my mom has a bruise looking mark on her right leg she says its not painful but it does itch often... i told her this might be an infection from what ive researched... shes had this mark for over a year.. what could this be?

See since the skin lesion has now been persistent since a year, so it is very important to evaluate it and look for the cause of the same.
It could be a simple eczematous patch or it can be a granulomatous skin disease or an infection.
She should see a nearby dermatologist soon .
Sometimes in such cases, a skin biopsy is also required to find out the exact cause and the etiology.
