Burning Eyes, Nose, Headache, Vomiting After Being Exposed To Bleach Inhalation. Any Non Prescription Medications?

Hello, two days ago my father cleaned our bathroom for about three hours, within those hours he was extremely exposed to bleach inhalation. Lately he has burning of eyes, nose, headache and at moments like feeling of vomitting. He's a stubborn man and won't immediately go to the doctors. I've read up the side effects but could not find a cure or treatment. Is there any non prescription medications he can take or something to lower down his symptoms?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

If it has been 3 days since exposure to bleaching agent and he is otherwise normal then there is nothing to worry. He can take antihistamines like cetrizine for any allergic reaction that he may be having. Do not allow him to get exposed to bleaching agent without wearing protective mask and eye glasses.

Hope this helps
