Burning Pain In Ankle After Removing Pin From Ankle, Which Was Put During A Surgery. Any Ideas?

I just had a pin removed yesterday from my ankle. I broke it on May 5th and had surgery May 9th to put pins, screws and plates in. After first surgery it felt pretty good. not a lot of pain. However after they removed this screw I am having so much burning and shooting burning pain. Feels like someone holding hot iron on my ankle. what is going on..????

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
After injury there were pin, plates, screw and all pressure of above bone were over plates and pins.
Hence you were not feeling pain.
Now these have removed so full pressure is over injured part ,hence there is excruciating pain.
Don't worry take most potent pain killer for 5-6 days and you will get relief.
Good luck.
