Burning Sensation In Penis, Smelly Urine, Pain In Lower Back. Std Test Negative. Given Dycocicline. Problem Persists?

Hi doctor. I have been experiencing burning sensation in my penis. Sometimes smelly urine. Also pain in lower back. I went to the std test and everything was negative. They gave me dycocicline. I took them but i still have the same problem. It gets wort if i drink alcoohol and i can get fever after alcoohol. Thank you doctor

Hi

Since you have had antibiotics and you are still not better, I think the cause is non-bacterial. It can be a fungal infection or it can be non-specific urethritis. It seems to be just a skin reaction to the presence of alcohol or alcohol metabolites in urine. Try to avoid taking alcohol. You may try over-the counter anti-fungals and see if it works for the burning sensation.
