Burning Sensation In Urethra And Lower Abdomen After TURP Procedure. Pain In The Urinary Bladder. Need Advice?

I am having burning sensation at the tip of the urethra and in the lower stomach after two years of having TURP. I was okay and played my tennis regularly until recently. I just had sex with my wife three days back and I am having some pain around my urinary bladder and around the stomach region. I have not seen any doctor yet but would like to know your opinion..

You might have a urinary tract infection now. 2 years post TURP i dont think it is directly related to your TURP procedure. You may need to get a urinalysis and probably an ultrasound of the kidneys and urinary bladder and prostate just to see how they are.
