Burning Sensation While Passing Stool. No Bleeding. Itching, Heat Generation Near Anus
Hi, From past 3 months i am facing a huge burning sensation while passing stool . There is no bleeding at all, sometime i pass hard stool and sometimes soft stool. And there is been absolute no problem in whatsoever while passing urine . But i do have skin itches and feels like itching a lot and some kind of heat being generated near the anal portion. Please advice...
Hi, many thanks for the query! You should get physically examined by your doctor once for P/R examination. Perianal Itching is typically caused by "Enterobius Vermicularis", i.e. Pinworm. Get the Stool examination done. If Pinworm confirmed, the medications used are mebendazole, pyrantel pamoate, and albendazole. All three of these drugs are to be given in 1 dose at first & then another single dose 2 weeks later. Take it with your doctor's opinion. It is recommended that all household members be treated at the same time. Washing your hands with soap & warm water after using the toilet & before handling food is the most successful way to prevent pinworm infection. Wish you a good health. Take care. Regards.
