Can 2,000 IU Of Vitamin D Cause Ankle Swelling?

I have some ankle swelling. I ve been on several medications for high blood pressure and diabetes for a long time without any side effects. only recently did I add 2000 units of vitamin d to my daily regimine, could that be the reason for the swelling?

Usually vitamin D supplementation may won't cause this problem. It may be just coincidence with other problems.

Cardiac, renal problems and dependent edema may present like this. Elevate the limbs during night time. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
