General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Acai berry has specific properties of having antioxidants and helping body against oxygen free radicals damage.

The role of the same in IBS has to be discussed with the treating gastroenterologist.

It can be consumed with the contraceptive pill for sure without any interaction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
