Can Actilax Be Taken For A Long Time For Easy Bowel Movements?

Hi have been taking actilax for about 6 months. If I don t take I have haemorroids problem and also another reason can t relax and try to empty the bowels in the morning as it is a bit. Of a rush with the kids ? Is that ok to be continued for a while? What are the problems associated with it if it s long term ?

Hello,

Some of the side effects of the Actinax syrup when used long term can be:
-bloating, gas;
-stomach pain;
-diarrhea; or
-nausea, vomiting.

If you feel these symptoms you should stop the medication.
