Can Adapalene And Cindamycin Phosphate Gel Help Cure Acne?

I just recently started using adapalene and clindamycin phosphate gel to cure my acne as prescribed by my dermatologist and it seems to be drying my skin out. Not to mention it burns the first few minutes when I apply it to my face. Is this normal? Am I using too much of it? Is this bad and should I stop using it? Thanks.

Thank you for posting your question. I can understand your concern.

Clindamycin and adapalene are both used to treat acne.
Adapalene 0.1% cream is a type of retinoid that is often used to treat acne. The commonest adverse effect is irritation. Yes it is normal to have this irritation.
I would suggest you to reduce the amount you are applying .
Or
You can apply Retino AC -0.025% gel instead of adapalene and clindamycin. Retino AC has Clindamycin included in it.

I hope this helps. Post any other question .
