Can Amiodarone, Minoxidil, Atorvastatin And Warfarin Be Taken Together?

am on amiodarone and also taking minoxidil, rena-vite, atorvastatin, warfarin, metroprolol, and sevelamer...are there any serious complications associated with this combination? am on hemodialysis and have serious itching issues, is this a side effect? thank you...

Hello,

Amiodarone drug has a tendency to enhance the effect of Warfarin. So, look out for signs of increased bleeding. Additionally, Amiodarone can also increase the concentration of Atorvastatin medicine.

Liver function should be monitored for the same. But on the whole, the drugs you are taking will not cause any major side effects.

In my opinion, the itching could be a side effect of the hemodialysis. You can take Hydroxyzine or Levocetirizine drug for itching.
