Can Amitriptyline Be Taken After Consuming Wine?

I started taking amitriptyline 10 mg at bedtime, 3weeks ago. I take it for neurogenic cough and it has been helping. I just had 2 gasses of wine at dinner and forgot that I should not drink alcohol. It s 10 PM.I am wondering if I should take my evening dose?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. You shouldn't take alcohol with amitryptilline. 2 glasses of wine is already a good dose of alcohol. Better to skip the dose of that day and continue from next day. But be careful not to repeat it again. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
