Can Amoxicillin Cause Burning And Itching In Hands And Feet ?
I started taking amoxicillan a couple of days ago for a sinus infection. My hands and feet started burning and iching really bad. I stopped taking it 2 days ago and I am still having the same issue. I am still sick and now I have burning and ichy hands and feet. I was washing dishes this morning and my hands swelled up. I ve never had a reaction like this before. Could it still be from the amoxicillan? I stopped taking it 2 days ago.
Hello, Amoxicillin is known to cause itching and burning. This itching may persist for couple of days after stopping the drug. However swelling of hands during washing dishes could be due to allergy towards something else like detergent powder and doesn't appear to be due to amoxicillin. Thanks
