Can Aricept Be Taken While Suffering From Pulmonary Fibrosis And Low BP?

My husband received a script for aricept. We know he has dementia moderate and is presently taking namenda 28mg. He has a host of other issues; pulmonary fibrosis, swallowing problems, urination problems, has heart issues low blood pressure, heart murmur pacemaker defibrillator., history of TIA s. it doesn t sound like this drug is a good fit for him. Agreed?

Aricept is a brand name of Donepezil. It is usually prescribed for dementia and it is a relatively safe drug. You can safely continue Aricept and it wont affect his current health and disease status.
