Can Asthmanex Cause Thrush Or Soreness In Soft Palate Of Mouth?

I have been using Asthmanex for about 2 weeks. I have rinsed well after use. My hemaglobin is 11.(I am a female) I woke up today with a very sore palate on one side of my mouth. The roof of my mouth is white,uniform.no plaques or patches. I am concerned about thrush because of Asthamanex.

It could be a oral thrush due to candida. Asthmanex is mometasone which is a steroid. Its recurrent use can cause it.I usually recommend my patients to use miconazole mouth gel for seven days for such cases.This should be used after having food and should not eat or drink or wash mouth for next 30 minutes.Hope this may help you.
