General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

These two medications can be taken together since there is no scientific evidence that some interactions or serious side effects exist. So if there is medical indication then it can be taken just be sure to take it in the recommended dosage. Also, you must be sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient of these drugs. If you start to feel any signs such as breathing difficulties or rash, you should stop medications and see a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
