Can BCAA Capsules Be Taken For Fatigue And Hunger?

Hi, I am 180 cms tall, weight - 87 KGs and aged 39. I have begun an exercise routine of runnign atleast 2 kms a day, and working with weights 3 days a week. However I feel hungry all the time and instead of progressing towards my target weight of 79 kilos, Ihave progressed from 84 kilos to 87. I am considering supplementing my diet with BCAA capsules to help me fight fatigue and prevent my hunger, and also am open to try out protien shakes if required. Hello there,
An increase in physical activity causes your body an increased need of protein. The protein in turn will lead to the body being repaired better and hence perform better. Your target for protein in the day should be atleast 87 grams. You need to have breakfast with a good amount of proteins and this would lead to you feeling full and decrease your craving for food. You can have eggs, grilled meat or soya/dals if your are vegetarian. Protein shakes also can be used. A scoop of protein powder alongwith a cup of milk and a fruit like banana/strawberry can be made into a smoothie and had for breakfast or as a late morning snack(around 11 AM). BCAA capsules are for people who have more extensive physical exercise then you so it makes sense to use them only when you have an increased workload. Also you can take a multivitamin tablet on alternate days.
