Can Benadryl Be Taken Along With Ibuprofen?

I went to the dentist today for a tooth extraction and was prescribed tylenol with codeine and am alternating ibuprofen as well, the dentist said to take benadryl also but not sure in what time frame to take it with the other pills or if I can take it with either the tylenol with codeine and or the ibuprofen?

Hi,
All these drugs are safe to be taken either together or separately. I suggest continuing to take your pain-killers alternately and take the Benadryl whenever suits you bearing in mind it can cause sleepiness.
