Can Buscopan Be Used For Whole Body Muscle Spasms?
I have prescription Buscopan after recent ischemic colitis. I have a nmd & wondered if this could help all over body muscle spams as well as gastro spams? I just wondered as when I was on Buscopan in the hospital & for a bit of a recouperation after, my all over pain was lower. I now just take buscpan prn if I feel that my intestines need them, but is it worth asking my GP about trying these daily during bad flair ups all over by body?

Buscopan is an antispasmodic and reduces spasms of smooth muscles of stomach, intestines, urethra and bladder generally.
10 to 20 mg is the normal dose. For regular use it may be upto 60 mg in divided doses too but not without consent of your attending doctor.
This is not the ideal medicine for whole body muscular spasm.
