Can Calcium Caltrate Be Taken With Ezetimibe, 1600 Fenofibrate And Eltroxin?
I take 6 pres drugs, am wondering if calcium caltrate would interfere with any any of them if I take them all at the same time My prescriptions are: pms pregamin, pms venal faxing X-ray Premarin, sand oz-ezetimibe, ran rabaprazole, fenofirate 1600, and eltroxin ( the last one I take first thing in morning)
Pregamin is an anti-epileptic drug commonly prescribed for seizures and also for neuralgic pain. Premarin is a conjugated estrogen. Ezetimibe is an analgesic belongs to Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs group. Fenofibrate acts against lipids and fats. Rabeprazole to prevent gastritis and GERDs. Finally, eltroxin to supplement the thyroid gland.
Calcium caltrate is a supplement for bone deficiency given along with vitamin D. It has no interaction with any of the drug you are prescribed. If you feel any abnormality, consult with your doctor to evaluate the pathology behind the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pradeepraj, General & Family Physician
