Can Chantix Cause Nightmares?

I have decided to quit smoking but I keep hearing people talk about the side effects of Chantix such as nightmares and doing strange things at night and not remembering it the next day. My husband recently died from lung cancer so I live alone and won t have anyone to watch me. I really want to quit but I am scared of what might happen while I am alone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
