Can Cipro Be Taken Along With Tramadol For UTI Infections?

I was prescribed cipro for a UTI, and I m already taking tramadol for arthritis pain. I usually just take one tramadol at bedtime. Is it dangerous to take cipro and tramadol together? I figure it s probably okay, since the same doctor prescribed both medications and he has been my doctor for 25 years.
