Can Clarithromycin Be Taken For Bladder Infection?
Hello, i have a rather severe bladder infection running to the bthroom every few minutes with urgency for just a few drops. No kidney pains yet. Can i take clarithromycin* and how much? (* 500mg tablets recently prescribed but not used -i always try natural ways first) I cannot see myself waiting at a doc s surgery till i m called ...) Thanks!
Whenever there is an infection in the urinary tract only natural ways might not work. So to treat urinary tract infection, antibiotic and natural ways both need to be followed.
You need to investigate with urine routine microscopic examination and culture for identifying causative organism and treatment accordingly with an antibiotic.
Drink lots of water and avoid excess spicy foods intake. Cranberry juice extract tablet also beneficial in such a case.
I suggest you consult Urologist for examination and detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
