Can Clomid Harm The Pregnancy In Any Way?

I was trying to conceive and when I thought I was pregnant I got a light period on day 16 which was quite abnormal and it continued for 2 days. I saw a gynae who advised we ignore and assume all was well. He gave me clomid which I took for 5 days from the 5th day of my abnormal period . I got pregnant and went for a scan when I was expecting to be 10 weeks but the scan showed i was 14 weeks 5 days. I took Clomid while already pregnant. Please advise, I am so worried.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Clomid is contraindicated in pregnancy- for it carries risk of fetal loss/ congenital malformations in baby.
As this pregnancy is precious for you, We should try to save it . You should consult an gynecologist in time, so that few things can be investigated for probable problems in pregnancy, and few preventive majors can be applied- please follow the doctor's advise after assessment of the condition.
Thanks.
