Can Dexilant And Omeprazole Cause Dizziness And Fatigue?

Hi, I have stomach acid reflux problem and my stomach doctor gave me Dexilant, after 4 days taking it, my neck is so stiff, my head is so tight and dizzy, weak, sweat, feel like dying. Doctor wants me stop taking it and change to Emoprazole. Second day of taking Emoprazole, the same feeling attacks me again. What is it going on with me? IS it related to my stomach or am I possible to have heart attack? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dizziness is a frequent side effect of Dexilant and omeprazole. Their common side effects are headache, rash, pruritus, dizziness, fatigue, cough, back or abdominal pain, arthralgia and myalgia, urticaria, dry mouth, photosensitivity, bullous eruption, fever, angioedema, bronchospasm, anaphylaxis, somnolence, aggression, vertigo, and insomnia.
This is not heart attack. Heart attack will cause chest pain and breathlessness. But for safety, get done an ECG.
Advice
1.     Stop Dexilant and omeprazole
2.     Take Ranitidine 150 mg every 12 hours orally for 15 days
3.     Cinnarizine 25 mg per oral when dizziness occurs
4.     Quit smoking and alcohol
5.     Do not heavily at a time. Divide your meals into smaller portions and eat them frequently during the day
6.     Avoid a particular food if pain occurs particularly after eating that food. Allergy particularly occurs for dairy products
7.     Avoid eating 3 hours before lying down
8.     Raise the head of your bed
9.     Avoid spicy foods, fatty foods, mint, chocolate, tomato-based foods, coffee, and citrus fruits
10.     Investigation - ECG
Thanks
