Can Duphaston Cause Any Side Effects In Breast Feeding Mother?

Hi, my son is 5months old and I m breastfeeding. I ve been prescribed duphaston by my doctor since my periods are irregular. She has asked me to take medicine from 21-09-2019 until 07-10-2014. Im concerned if having this medicine will affect my baby since Im breastfeeding? please revert

Duphaston contains the hormone progesterone and it can be safely used in breastfeeding and pregnancy.

A small amount of the medication may be present in the breast milk but this amount is not thought to have any effect on the baby.
