Can Eptoin Be Taken Instead Of Torleva?

Sir,after doctor advice I stopped eptoin50 in September 2015,unfortunately I had had seizure in February 2018(after a long break infact)and now I am adviced to take torleva500 two times a day.Now sir,only because of the soaring cost or because I cannot afford to buy with so much money all the time, can I prefer eptoin 50 instead ! Sorry to hear of the suffering you have, you concern is very right, for seizures control we have so many drugs that can work very well, there are few preferences for some drugs over other but this rule is not very hard and fast , and we always have other options if there is any problem with one drug,, (either side effects, or because of the cost or whatever). However drugs should not be reduced by its own, so i would advise you should not reduce it to once, and neither change it at the moment, but you should talk to you doctor ,and express your concern, I am sure he would change it to a better acceptable choice for your.
