Can Fertyl50mg Help In Successful Ovulation And PCOS Problem?

hello doctor,I am rupali.I usually take Letzol mg tablet from 2nd day of my period.but this time,Letzol tablet is not available inthe market.so medical store person gave me Fertyl50mg tablet.today is third day of my period,is it ok to start fertyl from today.will it help me in successful ovulation.i have PCOD problem

Hi,

Fertyl and Letzol are 2 different drugs used for fertility treatment.The former contains clomiphene and the latter contains Letrozole. They should not be interchanged before discussing with your physician since Letzol is more effective than Fertyl in many studies. On Day 3 of the menstrual period, a course of fertyl should be started. Two 50-mg tablets are taken orally for 5 days, from cycle day 3 to cycle day 7 in order to induce ovulation.
