Can GERD Cause Fluttering Of Chest Like Side Effect ?

I have a fluttering in my chest/throat occassionally, I take Nexium for GERD and was wondering if the flutters can be a side effect of the GERD. I have not felt pain with any of these flutters, thank goodness.5' 3" tall 180 lbs 46 years old only medical history is GERD and a possible sciatic nerve issue recently.
