I am 35 year old male. Since last seven yrs I don't feel the urge to eat anything. I never feel hungry despite even exhaustive activities and long fasting. I also suffered GERD - regular regurgitation, indigestion and constipation. This resulted in esophageal ulcer for which I took Proton Pump Inhibitors and some laxatives for around four months. I have got habitual of living with this. But around one month back - I had a bout of loose motions (not watery diarrhea) for which I took a course of Norflox-TZ which initially looked to be rectifying my problem but only agravated my loose motions. After completion of course - gradually I came on track but still the morning stools looks bit loose, semi-digested and uncontrollable (which I never had in past) - that I have to run to the loo. I am having two bowel movements (earlier it used to be only one) daily out of which the evening bowel movements are constipated or normal but not hard. Even though the morning stools look loose (sour smelling small pellets) I don't feel fully evacuated and after some time again I feel urge to pass motions and this stays for full day. When i try for motions - I pass some gas along with brownish sticky substance (looks like mucus) that too by too much effort. I feel restless for full day - always feeling that my rectum is clenched with something - difficult to pass any gas - when I try hard it seems that I will pass stools. Most of the gas I belch out of my upper gastro system. My other prior problems are as it is. I have got done some diagnostic tests like LFT, KFT, Stool Routine & Culture, Urine Routine and Culture, Thyroid Test (TSH Slightly elevated at 6.2), Se Calcium, Haemogram. All reports are normal. Apart from this I got myself tested for HIV, Hep-B some one year back - I took some term insurance policy. What could be the problem. If at all this is mucus which is clenching my rectum all the time - what is the remedy. I have lost some weight (around 3 Kgs) also in last month and still loosing gradually. I shall be highly obliged if somebody can throw some light on this.
