Hi,

Simvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication. It is used along with exercise, diet, and weight loss to decrease elevated lipid levels. Glucosamine is an amino sugar and a prominent precursor in the biochemical synthesis of glycosylated proteins and lipids.

Glucosamine sulfate is a widely used supplement that may help ease pain in people with osteoarthritis. There is no interactions known to exist between use of Simvastatin and Glucosamine together.

However, if you notice any unusual symptoms while you use them together, you need to seek medical attention promptly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
