Can HGH Be Taken To Combat The Height Deficiency Caused By Asthma Medicine?

Since asthma medication is now proven to cause a height deficient by the first month of use that lasts all the way until adulthood, can I somehow ask my doctor if I can take HGH to combat it? I'm very furious that I may be shorter than my father by half an inch. I'm very furious that we were not informed about this. I am still going through puberty. Is there something I can do? I really am frustrated. I am tall for my age. Taller than most of my peers. But I am genetically that way. I may not reach my full potential because of this bogus!

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
You are taller than many of your peers, and tall for your age. You are still in the teen age. So there is a possibility of gaining height, till the age of eighteen or more.
asthma it self may be cause of retarded grouth, if it is complicated by infections.
So try to be healthy by following the treatment of the asthma , to prevent infection.
Take balanced and good food to enhance your height and health.
Never go for short cuts. Wishing for a good height. Thank you.
