i had protectd sex with sex worker on 11 may 2011 using two condoms ,i am still worried risk of hiv, then i went to labortary after 10 days had hiv test ,it was non reactive ,but still i was worried ,again i did test after 28 days the result was same .
Hi, chance of hiv after using condom is very low. It can spread only if accidentally if you have contact. You for surity you need confirmatory test. Because routine testing will not help you in this early period. Go for confirmatory hiv testing once after a month of exposure. You can go with p24 antigen or pcr. And one more thing dint you two condom togather.its more risky.so use single condom only. thanks for using health care magic.

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
you have taken the good precaution by wearing two condoms. so there is no questions of having hiv to you. only thing that condom should not be broken at the time of doing sex. the test that you had undergone may be rapid test or elisa. this test will not give that much earlier result. earliest test result detected by the P24 antigen test.
