Can Hyaluronic Acid Be Used To Treat Arthritis?

Would Hyaluronic Acid 300 mg be good to use for an arthritis condition? My 42 year son has psoriatic arthritis and he's just had his second hip replaced because of it. His first knuckle on all his fingers are bend down and he's concerned that all his joints will start crumbling away like his hip joints did.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In my opinion Hyaluronic Acid has practically no role in the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. It might be helpful in osteoarthritis knee.
I suggest you consult a rheumatologist for the medical treatment of psoriatic arthritis. Now newer drugs are available which make the treatment more positive .
Thanks
