Can I apply a Nuvaring after I opened the seal over a week ago ?

Nuva Ring ......Once month birth control pill..
it contains...etonogestrel and ethinyl estradiol
both are Hormones...
it is vaginal ring studded with above hormones..
it delivers...0.120 mg / 0.015 mg of hormones per day
if the pack opens...the efficacy of these hormones will
decreases...,
Once inserted in to vagina ..,it works up to....
3 weeks ...then again can change new one....
Hence go...for another pill..new one........

Opening the seal a week before may have reduced the efficacy so it is advisable to use a new one.
