Can I Be Exposed To Cold Weather Since Titanium Attached To Leg?
My name is Biroe, In my left leg attached a titanium , how many degrees the temperature can withstand the cold . I was a sailor, if I get an offer for sailing in the area being winter, I had to cancel because I was afraid of not being able to work in cold weather with temperatures below 0 degrees. but until now I sail only on the equator. if I was in an air conditioned, so my legs do not ache and I m still able to do the activity in the room.

Hi ! There are many opinions on how people react or feel to the temperature changes with a metal in the body. Titanium is known to cause less discomfort in cold than any steel rod, but after all it is a metal, and there may be some temperature changes towards lower side in the winter below 0 degrees even if the body temperature may try to maintain the temperature to an optimum level. In an air conditioning , the temperature you maintain is as per your own comfort zone, and so you can not predict how the metal will behave in a temperature below 0 degree. If I would be you, I possibly would try to experience it in gradual decreasing temperature to be sure about the tolerance in low temperature. So take care.
