Can I Do Exercise With High BP?

I've been taking blood pressure readings a few times a day as had high reading in drs office..averaging at 127/92. I am 42 year old woman and need to lose about 25 kinds. I take 50 mg cozaar daily. I have cut out salt and doing some form of physical activity daily for an hour. Is exercise safe with these elevated numbers?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Doing exercises are completely safe as long as your on BP medications
I suggest you to have basic cardiac tests to be done if you feel of decreased exercise intolerance

Discuss this with your doctor and then decide.
Hope i have answered your query.
