Can I Give Meftal -p To Child Suffering From Fever And Shivering?

my son is 6 yr old and wt 22kg, he is suffering from fever from last 2 days, when fever reaches 102 his feels shivering, our doc. recomeded us to give meptal-p 10ml ( 3 times in a day). i also started lariago(10ml) antibiotic. Can u plz. suggest me , is it ok to give meptal-p?

In case fever persist get him re evaluated by doctor.
