Can I Reduce Weight Of 30 To 40 Pounds By Walking Only?

I am a 19 years old female and I weight 150 pounds. I have cerebral palsy, but not very serious symptoms.
I have weak legs because of it, so it is hard for me to do vigorous exercise, like jogging and running.
do you think I can lose about 30 to 40 pounds by just walking maybe 40 minutes each day?

Hi,welcome to HCM.
Your expected weight should be around 56-60 kgs for your age.strenous exercises should not be taken up by you as you have cerebral palsy due to reduced muscle mass.weight reduction in your case can be achieved through foods like oatmeal for breakfast for six months, reduce intake of salt.regular brisk walk of 20min is sufficient to cause weight loss.maintain BMI around 21.5 .consult expert neuro-physiotherapist for further expert query.
thank you
