Can I Safely Continue Using Dexona And Ciplactin Occasionally For Appetite And Weight Maintenance?

Hi, Use of Ciplactin and Dexona combination for increasing weight and appetite is not recommended in any way. Of course, Ciplactin may be used for increasing appetite and weight gain in children and undiagnosed malnourished patients selectively. As for as Dexona, is concerned, its use for this purpose is never recommended due to its potential side effects, as it may cause weakness of bones, infections, cataract, hypertension, glaucoma and abnormal distribution of body fats, particularly with prolonged use. Weight gain with use of Dexona is not a healthy weight gain, but it may be due to fluid retention and undesired changes in body metabolism. Hence, medically use of steroids can not be recommended just for weight gain. Rather it should be achieved by healthy diet of adequate protein, carbohydrate and healthy fats for healthy muscles along with adequate exercise, proper sleep and avoiding stress etc. If required, guidance of a dietician or a health care provider is advised for this. Also, the combination of Ciplactin and Dexona can never be advised as their mixed use can potentiate side effects of both leading to unhealthy weight gain or obesity. Take care.
