Can I Split Or Crush The Flucloxacillin Tablets Before Intake?

I ve been prescribed Flucloxacillin tablets for my eyelid. 1 tablet is to be taken every 6 hours. I can t swallow anything bigger than a British Tic-Tac sweet. Would it be possible for me to crush up the tablet, or split it and eat the contents? Please reply A.S.A.P.

Hi

Capsules should not be broken since capsules are designed to protect the drug content inside.Breaking the capsule and consuming the content alone inside will definitely affect the efficacy of the drug.
