Can I Swim And Exercise With A Vision Problem?

I had to go to the hospital as I was seeing webs and dots. The gel behind my retina seperated, but there is still some attached to my retina but the doctor thinks is pulling away with the retina. Told me I should go back to a doctor in a week or 2. in that time can I swim and exercise? Also am flying out of town will a plane ride be okay. Thanks
