Can I Take Advil With Hydrocodone-acetaminophen For Pain After Hemorrhoid Surgery?

I had hemorrhoid surgery 7 days ago the first pain med. was oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325 and it worked if I took 2 tablets every 6 hours I ran out called doctor and he said he could not called that one had to put me on hydrocondon-acetaminoph 7.5-325 and it does not stop the pain can I take advil with it ?

Advil along with paracetamol may cause gastritis or aggravate peptic ulcer disease.

Both are take in case of benefits outweigh risks. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
